Hi team
Kirk Jenifer and I had a good workout with Rick this morning – we tried to distract him and keep him talking between exercises but he was on to us pretty quickly and kept those heart rates up! It’s great to have a short sharp session that goes really quickly because of the variety. It’s great also to be learning so much about technique, form and nutrition too – thanks Rick.
I have had 5 sessions at the gym this week (feeling pretty smug I must say) and I even did 2 separate sessions in 1 day…..scary! It’s actually starting to be a bit of a concern as I’m getting obsessed – I suppose there are a lot worse things I could be obsessed about. It’s probably very lucky that Jenifer and I are such good friends as we can bore each other stupid and our family and friends don’t have to duck for cover when they see us coming. I’m starting to think about dropping into a plank or a set of push ups when I’m standing chatting or waiting to pick the kids up at school…..HELP!
I’m aiming for the 8 different classes this month too Bern although I’m still hovering on that 4 so will need to kick butt these next 2 weeks. It sounds like we should all be trying to get to Latino next Thursday to get some bonus points (Justin will post details next week). I need to do Yoga, Pilates, kick boxing and Latino – Are you doing Kick It on Monday Bernadette? Rick has also mentioned that he’s happy to do some discounted PT sessions, over and above what he’s already doing as part of the team package, which Jenifer and I are quite keen to take him up on – anyone else interested? I know it’s hard to get times that suit everyone and for us (and Rick I think) between school hours is best – Is there anyone else who can sneak away from the office or who works from home that could make a session?
Right, I’d better go and sort my house out or else I’ll be hellishly fit but divorced!!!
